Today Patrick Wyman and myself, illustrious hosts of the Heavy Hands podcast, dropped a commentary track on Bandcamp. You can find the link below.
You may have seen this kind of thing before. Rifftrax (the MST3K crew) do it for crappy B-movies. RedLetterMedia do it for . . . well, crappy B-movies. But as far as I know, no one has done it for classic MMA events. That’s where we come in.
Dr. Patrick and I sat down to watch UFC 100, and we invite you to watch it with us. UFC 200 is just around the corner, and as Brock Lesnar prepares to make his return, we look back at the time that he set the bar for UFC PPV sales (maybe) and revenged himself on rival Frank Mir to secure the undisputed UFC heavyweight championship. Also on the card is Georges St-Pierre’s masterful victory over Thiago Alves, and Dan Henderson’s frightening KO of current middleweight champion Michael Bisping. It’s a great event, and we’d love you to watch it with us. If nothing else, consider Pat and I a welcome replacement for the lovable ineptitude of Mike Goldberg.
To sync the track, hit play when you see the Zuffa graphic appear on screen. Pop in your DVD or fire up Fight Pass, and sit down to enjoy over two hours of fight analysis, joke cracking, and beer drinking. Join us as we discuss one of the most important events in the history of mixed martial arts.
