Here you can find all of my fight breakdowns, both written articles and video breakdowns. The Bloody Elbow articles cover everything from boxing, to kickboxing, to MMA, with a focus on the latter. The Bad Left Hook pieces are exclusively focused on boxing. The videos are a mixed bag!

The Diamond: A Ramon Dekkers Tribute Breakdown

  1. Lysander Martin says:

hi first time on the site wish i found it sooner but i was just wondering if you could do a southpaw guide for boxing/muay thai sucks being the only lefty in the gym its always funny when people hold the pads for me and i just manly wanted to know what the pros and cons for being a lefty and would it be smart for a southpaw to change stance while fighting like other people do

  2. Dean says:

    Hi

I was daydreaming about a potential Holly Holm vs. Ronda Rousey fight. I know Holly is no where near ready yet to face Ronda but again I was day dreaming. What are your thoughts on a fighter kicking at Ronda’s legs or using the Oblique kick against Ronda from the get go? Sorry if this is a stupid questions. I watch fights but have no experience actually fighting. From watching lots of Jackson/Winklejohn fighters they all pretty much utilize those oblique kicks against punchers. I think you showed the effectiveness of this in a Condit vs. Dan Hardy breakdown years ago. As Ronda is charging in could she get hit with leg kicks?

Thanks and advise when you can.

    Dean
